My name is Lucas Dankovchik, born and raised in Weirton, WV. In high school, I competed in varsity soccer and track. I attended and graduated from West Liberty University, in West Virginia, with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology.

Upon graduation, I was a strength and conditioning intern with the UW football team. While there, I was exposed to many different athletes, philosophies, and training styles. I worked with many athletes who are currently in the NFL – TJ Watt, Zack Baun, Ryan Ramczyk, Corey Clement, and many others. Post-internship, I attended California University of Pennsylvania, where I received my Master’s in Exercise Science: Sports Performance and Injury Prevention. During my time in school, I became a certified Speed Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist.

While in school, I worked on the side as a certified personal trainer. During my time as a trainer, I was fortunate enough to work with a Professional Baseball player in Columbia and a Powerlifter who broke national records in his weight class.

Upon completion of schooling, I was hired as a full-time coach at Verona Sports AdvantEdge. Having the ability to train athletes ranging from 8 years old to the professional level has provided me with an incredible opportunity to develop as a strength coach. I am now the Director at the Beaver Dam location and certified in Reflexive Performance Reset, RPR.

Strength and Conditioning is a huge passion of mine and I am ready to help take any athlete or adult to the next level in their training or performance
