Coach Grant Payne
Director of Sports AdvantEdge Waunakee
Grant grew up in the small town of Fall River, WI where he competed in football, basketball, baseball, and powerlifting. He excelled in football and baseball, earning all-conference awards in both during his career.
After high school, Grant attended North Central University in Minneapolis, MN where he played baseball for four years, graduating with a degree in Sports Management with a coaching emphasis. In his junior and senior year, Grant was put in charge of running the development program for the baseball team.
In his final semester, Grant earned an internship opportunity at Sports AdvantEdge Waunakee, where he trained youth, high school, college, and adult athletes. After completing the internship, he joined Sports AdvantEdge at Waunakee and also ran the Wisconsin Dells Strength & Conditioning program. Since Fall 2022, Grant has served as the Director of Sports AdvantEdge Waunakee.
