Offensive Lineman TrainingThe goal of an offensive lineman is move another person from point A to point B against his will. Brian has trained some of the best offensive lineman to play college football over the last 10 years. Those include first round choices Outland Trophy winner Gabe Carimi, Travis Frederick, Kevin Zeitler, 2nd round pick Pete Konz , 3rd round pick John Moffitt, 5th round pick Rick Wagner as well as Bill Nagy who started for the Dallas Cowboys as a rookie. Training offensive lineman includes but is not limited to:
Offensive Lineman sessions are 60- 90 minutes long. These sessions can be purchased as single sessions or in groups of 10/25/50/100. The time for each workout is based on the specific need of the athlete. Each program is designed for the individual based on their needs and skill level. Improvement is the ultimate goal. Every lineman will go through a (FMS) Functional Movement Screen plus many other assessments to establish a baseline starting point. This has been found to be extremely beneficial in finding the needs and areas of weakness for each lineman. 60 minute sessions focus on the needs of the athlete. Some will emphasize strength, some mobility and speed, some specific O.L. drills. 90 minute sessions focus on mobility/ movement/ speed and agility/ strength and power development/ conditioning. These sessions can be done 3-5 times per week based on the needs of the athlete and time of the year. Sometimes having 3-6 athletes of the same position add to the intensity and quality of the workout so Sports AdvantEDGE will have both individual and group sessions of for lineman as long as the needs fit the group.
