1st Step Youth Agility and Speed Enhancement Program

For all kids going into grades 4th-7th

Recent research shows that up to 90% of an athlete's motor skills are learned between the ages of 9 -12. Research also states ACL injuries are up 400% in athletes from the ages of 8-14 since 2005. For this reason, helping young athletes learn "how to" start movement based training properly at this age while building self-esteem and confidence is important. The 1ST Step program introduces the young athlete to fundamental training techniques that will improve development in:

  • Body Awareness
  • Deceleration
  • Joint Stability
  • Footwork
  • Coordination
  • Reaction Time
  • Core Strength
  • Speed
  • Acceleration
  • Balance Mechanics
  • Full Body Strength

Designed by Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Collegiate Strength Coach Brian Bott, each session uses progressive sequences of drills and exercises that are specific to youth sport demands. They combine the science and application
necessary for improved sport performance with today's young progressing athletes.

COST: $150 for 12 sessions/ $125 for repeat customers– Age - Grades 4th –7th
14 kids maximum will be allowed in a class at a time.
